Master of technology (M.Tech)
M.Tech stands for master of technology, it is a postgraduate professional degree course. In our country this degree is provided across different specializations. Like electrical engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, computer science and engineering, electronics and communication engineering etc.

This degree course is also open for the diploma holders or diploma holders who have a work experience for a period of time.
In India, M.Tech is working under the patronage of University Grants commission of India (UGC), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and National Board Of Accreditation (NBA). Various technical colleges provide admissions for M.TECH programmes through national, state level, and university level entrance examinations. Candidates need to qualify these exams and secure their seats in the respective colleges.
