It is a specialized field of study. The program is planned to train pupils in the practices that are required for communication with patients who have impaired hearing and other related sensory disorders.
Bachelors of science in audiology is an undergraduate degree course. The course comes under the stream of audiology which is based on semester system and comprises of 6 semester and 2 semester per year. The admission for this degree course is based on the merit list of 10+2 level. The criteria for admission is mostly same but may change depending on the college status of being aided or an unaided. The pupil interested in this course should have minimum aggregation of 50% to 55% in science with maths as a compulsory subject. Few institutes have their common entrance exams and few have D.U entrance exams. Qualification of 10+2 with physics and maths as compulsory subjects is needed. The fees for this course ranges from rupees 15 thousand to 30 thousand per year. Though this fees can get differentiated for private colleges and universities.
